The cast of Star Wars Episode VIII were treated to an out-of-this-world wrap party at London’s Natural History Museum that included Ellie Goulding and a gang of dancing Stormtroopers.

Mark Hamill, who plays Luke Skywalker, shared a video of the “Sexy Stormtroopers”, also known as Britain’s Got Talent finalists Boogie Storm, whipping the cast and crew into a frenzy.

“These guys (& girls) were AMAZING!” he wrote alongside the video, including the brilliant hashtag #TheEmpireShakesItsBooty.

He had sent fans into a spin when he tweeted goodbye to the cast before the wrap party, and had to later qualify that “GOODBYE=Returning home 2 Malibu” rather than that Luke was being killed off.

If the Stormtroopers weren’t enough at the party, Ellie Goulding also jetted in to perform for the crowd, which included cast Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac and Dippy, the museum’s dinosaur centre-piece.

Daisy, who reprises her role as Rey, shared a snap of her with two of the film’s camera operators, ready to throw some shapes in a spangly black dress.

She wrote: “WRAP PARDI!!! Gary and Dave are our camera A and B operators and they are FANTASTIC fantastic humans #notquitewrapped#emotionsemotionsemotions#suchaluckyluckylady#thisdresscouldnotbebettersuitedforagirlwhodanceslikeido.”

John, who stars as Finn, looked suave in sunglasses as he posed next to a bust of Tutankhamun’s death mask, writing: “The end of another chapter.”

Pilot Poe Dameron, better known as actor Oscar Isaac, posed alongside guests at the celebrations.

And the guests looked like they were having the greatest time as the mingled with the stars.

Star Wars: Episode VIII has an expected release date of December 15, 2017.
