Peter Andre has confirmed he is joining ITV daytime show Loose Women.
The 43-year-old, who has already appeared as a “Loose Man” on the popular programme, had been the subject of many a rumour surrounding a potential permanent role.
And in the Australian singer and TV star’s New! magazine column on Tuesday, he confessed that he will become part of the team, alongside ex-wife and mother of two of his children, Katie Price.

‘I’m really happy to announce that I will be appearing on your telly on Loose Women quite a bit over the summer,’ the Mysterious Girl singer wrote.
However, he hastened to add that he won’t be sitting at the iconic table alongside Katie and the other stars, including Andrea McLean, Ruth Langsford and Jamelia.
‘It won’t be me as a panellist though,’ he explained. ‘I’ll be a roving reporter giving a man’s point of view on many of the subjects. I can’t wait!’
He went on: ‘I think my kids will be excited to see me back on the box, but I’ve been looking at myself for 43 years so I’ve seen quite enough of my own face, thank you very much.’
Last week Peter made quite the impression as he rocked up to the show wearing a swimsuit and a sarong, although he has not made any promises to keep himself in beach clothing during his summer tenure on the programme.
He also caused a stir as he broke a toy car while on the show, sitting on the small motor and pulling off part of the side.
Peter’s famous ex Katie – with whom he has son Junior, 11, and daughter Princess, nine – became a weekly panellist on Loose Women in January this year.

At the time, she announced that she wouldn’t be “holding anything back” and thus far, she hasn’t: during her time on the show she has revealed things about her sex life, her very honest take on marriage and her penchant for cosmetic surgery.
Katie and Peter first fell in love during their stint in the I’m A Celebrity jungle back in 2004, before marrying in 2005.
They split in 2009 and appear to now be on good terms after years of sharing stern words with each other in the press.
