A MAN has been arrested after drugs worth a street value of £6200 were recovered.
The 26-year-old was arrested for drugs offences following the discovery in Johnstone on Wednesday.
The suspected cocaine was recovered from a property in the town's William Street.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police Scotland continue to fight against drugs in the community and would like to remind the public to contact us with any information on drugs dealers in the Renfrewshire and Inverclyde area.
"This can be done by phoning 101 or if you would rather remain anonymous then through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
