Three top runners are swapping Paisley streets for the roads of Rio after being selected to represent Great Britain in the Olympics.
Brothers Callum and Derek Hawkins, from Elderslie, and Glasgow-based Tsegai Tewelde are previous winners of the Paisley 10k, but they won’t be able to make this year’s event because they are competing in the marathon at the summer Games on the same day.
This year’s Paisley 10k Race and Fun Run, on Sunday August 21, is organised by Renfrewshire Leisure in conjunction with Renfrewshire Council.
You can register at www.renfrewshireleisure.com or call 0141 842 3000, or pick up an entry form from any Renfrewshire Leisure venue.
