Concerns are growing for a missing Clydebank teenager who failed to return home from a holiday in Magaluf.

Gavin Callaghan, 19, from Clydebank, had been on a holiday with friends at the Spanish resort and was due to return home on Friday night.

He failed to board the coach booked to pick up his group of friends from the Barracuda hotel.

He failed to board his flight home.

Family and friends have desperately appealed for information regarding his whereabouts.

Police have launched a missing persons hunt from Scotland.

Gavin is described as white, 5ft 10, of a slim build with short brown hair.

It is not known what clothing he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

Sergeant Cameron Morton from Dumbarton Police Office said: "For Gavin not to return home is completely out of character and his family and friends are extremely distressed and worried about his well-being."

"Officers are carrying out extensive enquires to find Gavin as soon as possible but we need help from members of the public."

"I would appeal to everyone to share this appeal and if anyone has heard from Gavin, or has information about his whereabouts, please contact officers at Dumbarton Police Office on 101."
