A series of performers have taken part in the colourful Springburn Carnival as part of a drive to inspire communities.
The Carnival, which makes its way from the Barmulloch Community Centre, is organised by the North East Area Legacy and Engagement Group which is a collection of organisation which includes councils, housing associations as well as voluntary and community groups.
The aim of the summer festivals is to engage and inspire communities to get involved and find out what's going on in their local area.
Working with local arts organisations, Platform & New Rhythms for Glasgow have commissioned artists to work with hundreds of children, young people and community groups to create costumes, props and lively performances for the carnival processions.
