Relatives say she was due to return home a few weeks after she was last seen but hasn't made any contact with family or been back home.

Her mum reported her missing to Police after she failed to contact her.

She is described as black, around 5ft4 4in tall with brown eyes and black collar-length hair.

She also has a tribal tattoo on her left ankle and another on her left thigh.

Sergeant Alan Docherty from Shettleston Police Office said: “Julia’s family and friends are very concerned about her and want to know that she is safe and well.

“It’s not unlike Julia to not be in contact for periods of time however it is important that we hear from her as soon as possible.

“I would appeal directly to Julia to get in touch with a friend, family member or Police so that we know she is ok.

“I would also ask anyone with information regarding Julia’s whereabouts to contact officers at Shettleston Police Office on 101.”
