The first trailer for the eagerly anticipated sequel to Trainspotting has been released by film bosses.
The first look at the footage from the new film features the original cast members including McGregor playing Renton, Ewan Bremner playing Spud, Jonny Lee Miller playing Sick Boy and the infamous Begbie played by Robert Carlyle.
The video was released online by studio Sony Pictures just days after filming wrapped in Edinburgh.
The cast of T2 have been spotted on location in multiple areas of Glasgow and in the capital.
The cast and crew wrapped 57 days of filming with an exclusive party at The Biscuit Factory at the weekend.
Trainspotting 2 is due for UK release on January 27, 2017.
McGregor tweeted that he was "gutted" to finish filming while writer Welsh said: "T2 wraps today in Edinburgh. Been another crazy trip in the best possible company. Thanks to everybody who got involved and supported us."
