A 45-YEAR-OLD man has died after emergency services found him injured on the street.
Police and emergency services rushed to the scene on the Moonpark Industrial Estate in Stevenston at around 12pm today.
It is understood that the man had been stabbed and police confirmed he was pronounced dead at the scene by ambulance staff.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "At 12pm on Monday, July 25, police and emergency services responded to a report of a 45 year-old man having been injured on the Moorpark Industrial Estate in Stevenston.
"The man was pronounced dead at the scene by ambulance staff.
"A post mortem will take place to establish the cause of death which is being treated as suspicious.
"Enquiries are at an early stage, however, detectives are following a positive line of enquiry."
