SERVICE at a fast food outlet wasn’t fast enough for a drunken customer.
Blackburn magistrates heard Benjamin Jay Tebay became frustrated and punched a serving hatch window and broke it.
And his frustration continued when he assaulted a police officer by kicking him in the groin.
Tebay, 27, pleaded guilty to criminal damage to a window at McDonald's on the Junction 4 service station and assaulting a police officer.
He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £100 compensation to McDonalds, £50 to the police officer, £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
Gareth Price, defending, said on the day of the incident his client’s four year relationship with his girlfriend had ended and he had started drinking.
