POLICE have arrested a man as investigation into the attempted murder of a man in Milton continue.
The 27-year-old was arrested after a 34-year-old was allegedly stabbed on Ashgill Road at around 12.25am on Saturday.
The man was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and his condition was described as critical.
Police are treating the attack as attempted murder and previously appealed to the public for information.
They were looking for a group of four men following the attack.
The man, who has been detained in police custody, is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
