Five arrested after brawl in East Kilbride
Police have arrested five people following a large scale disturbance in East mains.
Emergency services were called to a Logie Park property late at night where they arrested a 17-year-old woman from East Kilbride, a 31-year-old Larkhall woman and three men, two from East Kilbride aged 21 and 27, and one from Larkhall aged 19.
The five people were arrested for breaching the peace, while two of the males were also charged with violently resisiting arrest.
A report on the incident, which took place at around 11.30pm on Friday, will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
