A PENSIONER has died after his mobility scooter was involved in a crash with a motorcycle in Cambuslang.
Campbell McLuckie was driving his mobility scooter on Main Street at around 6.20pm on Saturday, July 9 when the crash happened.
Police say the 82-year-old was near Main Street's junction with Greenlees Road when he was involved in a crash with a Honda motorcycle being driven by a 25 year-old man.
Mr McLuckie was taken by ambulance to Hairmyres Hospital in East Kilbride, where he died on Wednesday, July 20.
The 25-year-old motorcyclist was uninjured but shaken as a result of the crash.
Sergeant Craig McDonald from the Divisional Road Policing Unit at Motherwell is appealing for any witnesses to the crash to contact his office through the 101 number.
