A 27-YEAR-OLD woman missing from home since Sunday was seen close to St George's Cross underground.

Police today re-appealed for information about Dorisa Andra Szanto, who is from Romania, was last seen at her home in Alfred Terrace at 5.30am when she went for a walk.

A force spokesman said they had established another sighting of Dorisa at 7.45am on Sunday 24 July, close to the St George’s Cross underground station.

He said it was possible that Dorisa was heading in the direction of Glasgow City Centre, "although this cannot be confirmed at this time."

Dorisa is described as 5ft 4, slim build, brown hair which is shaved on the right side, brown eyes and has a tanned complexion.

Sergeant Gerry Orr at Partick Police Office said: "We now have a second confirmed sighting of Doriza around the area of St George’s Cross Subway Station. It is possible that she had progressed down Great Western Road towards the area of the City Centre.

“We know she was wearing a black jacket, a light coloured top, denims, white shoes and was wearing sunglasses. Her hair was tied up in a ponytail.

"If you live or work in Hillhead, Kelvinbridge, Woodlands, Woodside and St George’s Cross, please cast your mind back to the early hours of Sunday morning and ask yourself if you have seen Dorisa. Please call police at Partick with any information you may have."
