A THUG nicked an Apple laptop and camera equipment as he was walking along the street in Cambuslang.
The 31-year-old victim was targeted at around 11.20pm on Monday, July 25 as he was walking along Hamilton Drive.
He was approached from behind by a man who threatened him with a weapon and demanded his bag.
The suspect then made off towards West Coats Road, Cambuslang.
Police say bag stolen contained an Apple laptop and camera equipment.
The victim was uninjured but badly shaken as a result of the incident.
The only description available of the suspect is described as being of average height and build. He was wearing a navy blue hooded top and blue jeans.
Detective Constable Craig Jolly of Cambuslang Police Office said:“Officers have been carrying out enquiries in the local area and studying CCTV images in an effort to gather more information on the robbery and the man responsible.
“I would ask any witnesses, or anyone with information that may assist our enquiries to contact Cambuslang Police Office through the 101 number. Alternatively CRIMESTOPPERS can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
