Cheeky Celtic fans have tricked Rangers supporters with a cruel Facebook post claiming Robin Van Persie was signing on at Ibrox.
However, when Rangers fans click on the article it links back to a story that was published on the Evening Times website back in 2012 which has the headline '140 years of Rangers liquidated ... after just 8 minutes of meeting'.

The Celts Are Here Facebook page mocked up the article and it has been shared nearly 4000 times and has generated more that 200,000 page views in less than 7 hours.
Earleir today Rangers manager Mark Warburton laughed off suggestions that he is on the verge of signing the former Arsenal and Manchester United striker.
Odds were slashed overnight by bookies on the move going ahead, with Ladbrokes then suspending bets altogether earlier today.

The Fenerbahce forward was linked with joining the Ibrox side despite his current £5 million per year deal that has two years to run in Turkey.
Mark Warburton said: "I have no idea where the rumour has emanated from. I woke up to a barrage of texts and missed calls, with apparently the deal done.
"Everybody knew about it apart from the people at Rangers Football Club.
"Out of our pay league I think is a fair comment.

"He's an unbelievably talented player but absolutely nothing in it whatsoever. I'm bemused to hear some of the stories, including betting being suspended.
"There is no truth in the story whatsoever."
