A 15-YEAR-OLD girl and four men have been arrested as police continue their crackdown on those responsible for alleged violence and disorder at the Scottish Cup Final continues.
Police say they made the arrests following an operation on Thursday.
This latest operation by cops brings the total number of arrests to 55 following the match between Rangers and Hibernian on Saturday, May 21.
Two men – ages 17 and 22 – were arrested in connection with alleged offences under the Offensive Behaviour at Football (Scotland) Act 2012.
A 15 year-old woman and two men – both aged 35 - were arrested in connection with alleged offences under the Offensive Behaviour at Football (Scotland) Act 2012 and an alleged assault. Police also confirmed 17 year-old, 22 year-old and the two 35 year-old men were detained in police custody in connection with this matter.
A full report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal and they were all expected to appear in court today.
