Police have recovered a quantity of drugs, with an estimated street value of two hundred and thirty five thousand pounds (£235,000) during an intelligence led operation in East Renfrewshire and East Ayrshire.

On Friday evening officers stopped and searched two vehicles in the Uplawmoor and Stewarton areas which resulted in a quantity of cocaine and cannabis being seized.
Two men aged 35 and 40 years have been arrested and detained in police custody in connection with the drugs recovery.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
