Compston will be playing the role of callous killer Manuel who is pursued by Muncie, played by Henshall, over a number of years.

Detective Muncie was targeted as part of his Manuel’s revenge plot which involved sending him birthday cards and clues to his crimes.
The mini-series will look at the years in which Manuel evaded capture and the determination shown by the police in bringing him to justice.
The cast will also include Gilly Gilchrist, who has previously starred in River City and Versailles, and Denis Lawson from Hustle and New Tricks.
Line of Duty producers World Productions and director John Strickland will be bringing the story to the screen with the help of Creative Scotland’s Production Growth Fund.
