London's first nudist roof terrace is hoping to get bums on seats following its opening this week.

Guests won't need to dress to impress as they are encouraged to bare all and enjoy views of Big Ben and other London landmarks.

Erected in Parliament Square, the new 'pop up' venue includes an open-air bar, sun-bathing areas and the opportunity for a bounce on its trampoline or a round or two of swing-ball.

Organisers are hoping the sun terrace won't get too steamy with London preparing for a blistering heatwave.

The 60ft high rooftop venue - which also boasts views of Westminster Abbey, The Houses of Parliament and The London Eye - was opened by NOW TV to launch its new 'contract-free Combo'.

Gidon Katz [CORR], managing director of NOW TV, said: "As a nation, it seems we're increasingly avoiding being 'tied down' in life - which is exactly what NOW TV is all about.

"With the NOW TV Combo we're offering people the freedom to get the latest and best TV, broadband and calls, all without a contract.

"And we're not stopping there. We're going to keep breaking away from traditional conventions; firstly contracts, and now clothes, with the NOW TV nudist terrace.

"We think the naked sun deck is a great way to promote our new 'package'!"

The opening of the NOW TV Naked Sun Terrace follows new research which found young Brits avoid being 'tied down' in life more than people did 30 years ago.

The current generation of 30-year-olds have had 38 per cent fewer serious relationships than people in their 30s in the 1980s did.

The research of 850 people in their 30s and 850 people in their 60s also found the modern 30-year-old has lived in 28 per cent more countries and worked for 15 per cent more organisations than the previous generation did.

In a bid to encourage more people to adopt their "contract-free outlook", the
organisers intend to open the venue up to the public again during the summer.
