Gary Lineker has kept the promise he made on Twitter to his followers and hosted Match Of The Day in just his underpants.
Gary, 55, vowed to front the football programme in his underwear if underdogs Leicester City won the Premier League, which they did in May.
He made his promise public, writing on Twitter: “If Leicester win the @premierleague I’ll do the first MOTD of next season in just my undies.”
Earlier this week, the BBC released a picture from Match Of The Day showing a pair of white Y-fronts hanging on a peg marked Lineker.

The show was introduced as “here’s a man in his pants” and, after the title credits, Gary Lineker appeared on the set, close to the camera, sporting a pair of white boxer shorts carrying the Leicester badge and nothing else other than a microphone round his neck, with studio guests Alan Shearer and Ian Wright laughing in the background.

Fans, celebrities and sports stars took to Twitter to post their reactions to his appearance.
