A food delivery service for hungover Glaswegians has launched in the West End.

John Riach, 51, from Glasgow, launched takeaway service One Delivery West End which delivers food from the country's best loved fast food restaurants including McDonalds, KFC and Burger King to the city's ravenous customers.

He even does McDonald's breakfast deliveries on Saturday and Sunday.

He said: "I don't know how many times I've woken up with a hangover and craving my favourite fast food."

"The concept behind our service is delivering piping hot food to those in need."

"We personally drive to the restaurant and wait in queues for our customers. Current order times are averaging at around 40 minutes."

"All of our drivers use heated bags to keep deliveries fresh and hot."

Zones available for delivery include G11-14, G20, G61, 62 and Bearsden, Milngavie, Rutherglen, Cambuslang and East Kilbride between 11am and 10.30pm.

Standard delivery costs £4.50 and an online menu service is available.

Customers can even track their order and driver using a tracking text message.

John also touched on Scotland's drink-driving limit and said the service will hopefully deter hungover revellers from jumping into their cars in the morning.

"So many people crave these foods when feeling worse for wear in the morning. I hope Glaswegians will use our service and think twice before driving with a hangover."

Despite only launching 11 days ago, John says he only has his Glasgow clients to thank.

"We've had a really positive response since launching our business."
