Katie Price has suggested she could be a future Olympian.

The former glamour model would like to follow in the footsteps of Team GB’s Olympic dressage champion Charlotte Dujardin.

As part of her new TLC reality show, Katie Price’s Pony Club, six young novice riders, including Price’s 11-year-old son Junior and nine-year-old daughter Princess, will take on the world of equine sports.

Asked if her children could become Olympic stars, the 38-year-old dressage enthusiast told the Press Association: “Maybe their mother.”

She added: “If there’s anyone out there who wants to sponsor me, it’s all about having the right horse.”

Katie was full of praise for Charlotte, saying: “Her and her horse, they’re just amazing together.”

The programme will see Katie, Princess, Junior, their four friends and their competitive mothers take on the elite world of pony clubs.

The mother-of-five said: “I wanted to put across that you can start riding at any age and you don’t have to have all the money. I know it’s got this posh thing around it.”

She added: “A lot of people are quite snobby in the dressage world but I don’t really know why.”

Princess and Junior’s younger siblings could soon join them in the stables, as Katie revealed her three-year-old son Jett and two-year-old daughter Bunny are keen to get on horseback.

“Bunny and Jett sit on the horses, and they’ve got their own horses,” she said.

“We’ve got no choice, because they stand there and cry and put their arms up and say, ‘On! Sit on!’ They love it.”

Katie Price’s Pony Club starts on Thursday at 9pm on TLC.
