POLICE are hunting a flasher who exposed himself to several women in a busy park.

The pervert first exposed himself two teenage girls, both 16, at around 8pm on Tuesday, August 16 at the James Hamilton Heritage Park, Stewartfield Way in East Kilbride.

Police say the incident was also witnessed by another 26-year-old woman.

The man is described as white, aged 30 to35 years, 6ft in height, medium build and he had short blonde hair with a beard.

He was wearing a black t-shirt and carrying an orange Sainsbury’s bag.

Chief Inspector Gillian Scott said: "I am appealing for anyone who observed the described suspect in the park at the time of this incident to contact us.

"The park was busy last Tuesday evening due to the good weather and we are hopeful that someone will be able to identify the male suspect.

"Following the incident uniformed officers and plain clothes officers have been carrying out extra patrols within the park and the surrounding area.

"If you have any information in relation to this incident please contact us via 101 or alternatively you can provide information anonymously via Crimes Stoppers on 0800 555 111.

"I would also appeal for the public to contact us if they observe anyone acting suspiciously within the park and I would stress the importance of contacting us without delay to allow officers to attend immediately."
