Gordon Ramsay was fined for speeding at almost twice the speed limit in roadworks.
The celebrity chef was clocked at 70mph in his Land Rover in a 40mph section of the A30 near Bodmin, Cornwall.
Ramsay, 49, who owns a £4.4 million house in nearby Rock, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined £500 with six penalty points.
Magistrates also ordered him to pay costs of £85 over the incident on March 23.
Ramsay, of Spencer Park, London, did not attend court and a spokesman declined to comment on the case.
