If you have any old Monopoly money lying around, you can bag a totally free Monopoly Electronic board game (worth £20) while stocks last at Smyths Toys Superstore from Saturday, September 3.

To get it, just advance to a Smyths Toys Superstore and hand over a 50 note (not a real one – just a single 50 note from any Monopoly game). Staff will stamp the note and return it to you along with the Monopoly Electronic board game worth £20. You can then simply walk out of the store with no danger of going to jail.

Glasgow Times:

Monopoly Electronic is an updated version of the classic board game designed to reflect modern life – so the properties cost millions and all banking is done via plastic bank cards rather than cash.

Simply insert your card into a mini chip and pin banking machine to pay, earn and exchange money.

To avoid the Water Works, Smyths says it needs to be a 50 note, no combination of 20s, 10s, 5s or 1s will be accepted.

Monopoly comes with a stack of 50 notes, but you can only claim one free game per household.

Smyths hasn’t confirmed how many each store will have to give out, so going this Saturday will give you the strongest chance.
