Kelvingrove Art Galley has been named one of the best in the UK by TripAdvisor.
It takes ninth place in the list of most popular museums in the country and is one of only two in Scotland to make the top 10.
The best museum in the UK was the British Museum in London which is dedicated to human history, art and culture and boasts some eight million works.
It was also named fourth best rated museum in Europe and eighth in the world in this year's awards which honour top travel spots worldwide based on the millions of reviews and opinions from TripAdvisor travellers.

Award winners were determined using a system which took into account the quantity and quality of reviews over a 12 month period.
Kelvingrove, which opened in 1901, is the most popular free visitor attraction in Scotland and the most visited museum in the United Kingdom outside London.
In July 2006, it was re-opened by the Queen after a three year closure for a £28 million refurbishment and restoration.
The museum's collections came mainly from the McLellan Galleries and the old Kelvingrove House Museum in Kelvingrove Park.
It has one of the finest collections of arms and armour in the world and a vast natural history collection.

Glasgow Life chairman Archie Graham said: "Kelvingrove attracts more than 1.2million people a year and as this achievement confirms, it remains a firm favourite with Glasgow's residents and visitors.
"This award is especially important as it is a result of visitor reviews. I would like to thank visitors to Kelvingrove and our fantastic museum staff for helping us achieve this recognition.
"Entry to all our museums is free and I would encourage everyone to visit Kelvingrove and experience first-hand why our museum is recognised as one of the best in the UK."
