Anna Richardson tops Channel 4′s wishlist of new Great British Bake Off presenters, according to reports.

The race to find new hosts after Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc pulled out has already begun.

According to The Sun, Sue’s partner Anna could land the show.

Anna has recently been presenting Naked Attraction for Channel 4, and Secret Eaters.

A source was quoted as saying: “It’s amazing that they’re already drawing up a list, but when you spend that much money on a show and the current line-up quits, you have to be prepared.

“It’s ironic that Anna goes out with Sue but she would have been top of their list anyway. They’re looking at current presenters on the channel who will move the show forward,” the source was quoted as saying.

Comedian Jimmy Carr is also tipped as a front-runner to join Anna.

Other names who have been linked to the show include An Extra Slice star Jo Brand, comedian Sarah Millican, comic Ed Byrne and presenter Davina McCall.

Meanwhile the BBC and Channel 4 are still vying over judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood, with neither broadcaster wanting to lose the TV stars.
