A pregnant woman and her two colleagues were held up at gunpoint during an attempted robbery in broad daylight.
The terrifying incident happened yesterday around 5.10pm at the Lyoncross Road Post Office in Pollok.
A gunman burst into the shop and threatened three members of staff, before fleeing the scene empty-handed.
Police have been carrying out extensive enquiries into the incident, which left the staff petrified but unharmed.

A spokeswoman said: "Around 5.10pm a man armed with what appeared to be a firearm went into the post office. He threatened a staff member and left empty handed.
"Nobody was injured.
"We are continuing enquiries."
An eyewitness said police swarmed the are last night as their investigation into the incident began.
He said: " Police were everywhere, they were stopping cars and checking CCTV last night and the whole area was full of officers.
"The shop was all taped off, it looked pretty serious.
"A young heavily pregnant lassie was in the post office serving when it happened. Thankfully she was okay."
The post office, which has reopened today, confirmed the staff were unharmed but shaken by what had happened.
