A legal firm has launched a £2m court action against Lloyds bank claiming it was targeted as part of the UK’s biggest cyber scam.
Pitman Blackstock White Solicitors claim to have had their company account drained by Glasgow fraudster Feezan Hameed Choudhary and his team of international conmen, who were found to have paid three Lloyds employees to leak confidential customer information.
Choudhary, 25, who lived a lavish lifestyle involving £100,000 shopping trips at Harrods was jailed for 11 years last week for his part in the £113m banking fraud.
