COPS in Glasgow city centre are appealing for witnesses after a man was found with serious injuries in Townhead.
The 38-year-old was assaulted at around 3pm on Saturday, September 17.
Police and emergency services rushed to the scene after receiving a report that a man was found with serious injuries near to the circular sculpture near to the shops located off Kennedy Street.
The victim taken by ambulance to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary and was released after receiving treatment for serious facial injuries
Detective Constable Shona MacKinnon, City Centre CID, said: “Enquiries into this incident are continuing and officers are studying CCTV images to gather more information on how this man came about his injuries.
“I would ask anyone who witnessed this incident, or has any information that would assist our police investigation to contact City Centre Police office on 101. Alternatively, CRIMESTOPPERS can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
