TWO teenage girls have appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a man was seriously injured in Paisley.
On Saturday, September 24 at around 8.25pm, the 39-year-old was walking on Forbes Place, near to its junction with Causeyside Street.
He was taken by ambulance to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley with head injuries.
The girls made no plea or declaration when they appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court.
The 16-year-old was remanded in custody and the 15-year-old was released on bail.
The pair also faced charges of permanent disfigurement, assault to severe injury and danger of life.
The case against them was continued for prosecutors to investigate further.
No future court dates were set.
