The unveiling of the cast members for Glasgow's new reality series GLOW has set social media alight.
The reality series is dubbed the city's answer to TOWIE and Made in Chelsea as it follows the lives of eleven up and coming socialites.
The annoucement of cast members who include Rangers star Maurice Edu's former flame Lauren McDonald and nightclub owner Brian Matthews has sparked a mass reaction from online users.
The annoucement of the new show, which will air exclusively online every Thursday, has already received mixed reactions from Glasgow locals.
Some social media users reacted with delight after hearing their home city and some familiar faces will shortly grace their screens.
A Facebook user said: "Think I'm the only one buzzing for glow! can't wait to see loads of people I know falling about Glasgow clubs."
Another said: "I will be disappointed if there is not a house party with the majority of the party in the kitchen with DJ rankin in the background noise on repeat!"
Another said: "They'll probably make a few bob along the way so good luck to them. Each to their own."
Others reacted with shock saying the show doesn't show off the real Glasgow.
One Facebook user wrote: "This series GLOW is just a bunch of people that define everything that is wrong with Glasgow."
