Katie Price has slammed claims made by former Rangers star Fernando Ricksen that the pair slept together in Glasgow.

The model branded the footballer's version of their 2003 liaison as "b*******" and claimed she wanted to sue him but dropped her plans because of his Motor Neurone Disease diagnosis.

In his autobiography the former sportsman claims the pair canoodled in a Glasgow lapdancing club before spending the night together at the Moat House hotel.

He wrote in his book, Fighting Spirit: “The sex was amazing – it was a once-in-a-lifetime I will never, ever forget.

“I was having problems with my ex-wife Graciela and we’d split up. I was on the prowl again.

"That night I was damn proud of myself – banging Jordan was one hell of an achievement.”

Katie, 38, slammed his claims in her new autobiography Reborn, and insisted she wanted to call in her lawyers but chose to drop a course of action when she found out he was ill.

Ricksen was diagnosed with MND in 2013 and his book, Fighting Spirit, was published in 2014.

Speaking of the alleged liason, Katie said: "I have never done that.

"I remember and I was going to sue him but because he’s ill, what’s the point?”

“It was absolutely bulls***. I was going to go legal on it because it is absolute rubbish.”

Her book details several men she has had sex with including a fling with an unknown married celebrity called Mr X.

However Ricksen fails to feaature.

She said: “The ones in the book have upset me, which is why they are in the book. But they have never come back to complain because it is the truth.

"No one is going to argue the facts.”

Ricksen wrote in his book "I was all over the front pages and, looking back, sh*****g Jordan was only going to have one result but I took the club fine – happily.”

He was fined £25,000 by Rangers football club after the story of his liason broke in 2003 within hours of then managed Alex McLeish saying he planned to keep the sportsman off the front pages.
