The son of a Ravenscraig worker is taking legal action following his mother and father’s deaths from asbestos related cancers.
Joseph Culbert, who worked as a steelworks labourer at Colvilles Steel Mill in the late 1960s, died in 2007 from multiple myeloma.
His wife Martha died from mesothelioma in May 2016.
Joseph’s son Alexander and daughter-in-law Vanessa have hired Harper Macleod to investigate his exposure to asbestos.
They would like to hear from anyone who worked at Colvilles in the late 60s and has information as to how he would likely have been exposed to asbestos in the steelworks.
