THE world’s top darts stars will return to the SSE Hydro in Glasgow to compete in the Betway Premier League
The likes of Michael van Gerwen, Phil Taylor and Gary Anderson will be competing for the prestigious title on Thursday, March 9.
The Betway Premier League sees ten stars competing across four months at arenas in the UK, Ireland and Netherlands in a bid to win the coveted trophy, which was claimed for a second time by van Gerwen in 2016.
The event is televised live by Sky Sports and broadcast worldwide, and it has also been won six times by legendary Stoke star Taylor since its inception in 2005.
Scottish hero Anderson – the back-to-back World Champion – has claimed the title twice, and both James Wade and Raymond van Barneveld have also lifted the trophy.
The 2017 season will begin in Newcastle on Thursday, February 2 and visits Nottingham, Leeds, Brighton and Exeter before making its return to Glasgow.
The top four players from the PDC Order of Merit following the 2016/2017 World Championship will qualify by right for the Betway Premier League, alongside six Wildcard selections to be announced during January.
Tickets will go on sale on Monday, October 10 at 10am priced £24.95 - £45.40 (inc. admin fee) and will be available from www.thessehydro.com or 0844 395 4000.
