POLICE have issued a fresh plea to the public to help track down a missing Clydebank teenager.

The 16-year-old was last seen at around 2.45pm on Saturday, September 17 at his home in Second Avenue, Clydebank.

He was captured on CCTV walking through nearby Dalmuir Park at around 2.53pm the same day.

He is described as around 5ft 7in tall, of slim build, with blue eyes and dark hair.

He was last seen wearing a navy Adidas tracksuit with light blue stripes down the arms and legs, a white T-shirt and navy Adidas trainers with grey stripes.

Police have said there is "no information" to suggest missing teenager Scott Diver was planning on meeting anyone when he disappeared four weeks ago.

Inspector John Mullen from Clydebank police office said on Friday: "It has now been almost four weeks since Scott was reported missing.

"Officers have conducted extensive inquiries into his whereabouts and have been supported by specialist resources including our Air Support Unit, Dive and Marine Unit and search officers.

"There is no information to suggest Scott was planning to meet anyone and his movements after the last sighting are unknown at this time.

"His family are extremely concerned about him and I would urge anyone who has any information regarding Scott's whereabouts to contact the inquiry team on 101 or via the dedicated email address at ScottDiverInquiry@scotland.pnn.police.uk"
