THE family of a Clydebank teenager who has been missing for more than a month have said his appearance may have changed.

Scott Diver vanished from his home in the town’s Second Avenue at around 2.45pm on Saturday, September 17, and police launched a major search operation to find him.

His family believe the teenager’s hair may be longer and he may have grown a moustache.

They posted on a Facebook page dedicated to finding him, “Scott’s hair will be longer and he could possibly have a small moustache.

“He has also likely changed if not all of his clothes, part of them.”

His dad previously issued a plea for the teenager, who is originally from the Isle of Man, to come home, saying, “Scotty, we love and miss you and want you home.”

With connections down south, the family say the search for missing Scott has gone as far as Cornwall.

The family said: “Scott is still missing and although police have been informed of possible sightings nothing has been confirmed.

“As the park was the last area Scott was seen, this has been searched thoroughly and some surrounding areas.

“They are also working on every sighting including as far as Cornwall and they all have to be treated the same until ruled out.

“We just continue to ask if anyone sees him or thinks it’s him contact police on 101.”

Previously police focused their search on fields and large derelict areas around Clydebank, as well as the Old Kilpatrick Hills because the teenager enjoys camping.

The police helicopter was deployed while officers are also monitoring social media .
