15 firefighters battled through for nearly three hours to extinguish a blaze at a housing development in Renfrewshire.
A block of four, two-storey timber framed houses under construction were destroyed in the fire.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to the incident at 7pm on Sunday evening following reports of fire at a housing development in Beith Road, Johnstone.
Firefighters arrived within four minutes and discovered the structures already well alight.

A spokesman for Scottish Fire and Rescue said: "At the height of the incident, there were 15 firefighters and an aerial rescue platform at the scene.
"They tackled the fire using three main jets and it was extinguished at 9.50pm.
"Firefighters ensured the area was made safe before leaving the scene at 10.12pm.
"There were no casualties."
