A TEENAGE girl has won the Young Landscape Photographer of the Year award with her picture of a Glasgow pub.
Hannah Faith Jackson, aged 15, from Strathaven, took a prize for her shot of the reflections in a Glasgow bar window.
A photograph by Lesley Smith of the Red Road flats being demolished made the list of category winners, taking the top prize for Urban View 2016 .
An “intriguing” image of starlings swirling around the remains of Brighton’s West Pier scooped the top prize in the prestigious annual awards.
The dramatic shot by Matthew Cattell, from Bracknell, Berkshire, which judges likened to the tornado in the Wizard of Oz, beat thousands of entries showcasing the UK landscape to win the overall title and £10,000.
The awards were held in association with VisitBritain for the third year.
This year they included a category for images that showcase the diversity of moments and experiences that can only be had on a trip across Britain.
