RANGERS fan Kraig Mackay will be a guest of honour at Ibrox tomorrow night after he was the victim of an “abhorrent” attack on his way to Hampden.
The 11-year-old was struck by a bottle before the Gers’ Betfred Cup semi-final with Celtic on Sunday.

Kraig was treated by police paramedics and required stitches and his mother, Laura, has called for the perpetrators to come forward.
Rangers face St Johnstone in the Premiership tomorrow night and Kraig will lead Mark Warburton’s side out ahead of the game before taking up a
seat in the Director’s Box.
The Gers boss said: “The club were obviously so disappointed to hear that. Such a young fan on his way to what should have been such an enjoyable afternoon.
“The club have been in contact and Kraig will join us as our mascot, which we are looking forward to.
“We will look after him and he will be in the Director’s Box hopefully enjoying the comforts of that seating plan.
“It is very upsetting news to hear but hopefully we can make it up to him on Wednesday.”

Chief Superintendent Brian McInulty said: “Let’s be clear – this was an attack on a young boy who could possibly be left with a scar.
“This is abhorrent, and the person or persons responsible need to be caught.
“A football game is not an excuse for violence, ever. My detective officers are continuing inquiries into the incident, and I would re-iterate their appeals for information.”
