THE top cop responsible for finding missing Janet McQueen has said he is absolutely certain she is not in Queen’s Park.
Janet, who disappeared on Tuesday, October 18, regularly travelled from her home in Govanhill’s Langside Road to pubs in Shawlands, and the park is located in between the two areas.

Chief Inspector Graham McInarlin confirmed that he has carried out a through search of the park after a gardener reported that he saw Janet there.
Police divers plunged into the two ponds while officers searched wooded areas.
He said: “There was a sighting unconfirmed from a gardener in Queen’s Park who thought he saw Janet on Thursday morning

“There has been a full search of the park both the two ponds and the wooded area.
“I have also had the helicopter up there and I am absolutely satisfied that she is not in the park.”
