PUPILS from an East End secondary school met up with an award winning conductor in advance of a massive performance in the City Halls.
Andrew Nunn led the city-based female choir which won the BBC Choir of the Year competition in 2012.
He met pupils from St Andrew's secondary school in Carntyne who make up the largest school group to form part of a 400 strong choir of singers who will be joined on stage by the 30 strong orchestra of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Mr Nunn will conduct the Nelson Mass by Hayden at a performance organised by the 130 strong Bearsden choir.
Sunday will be the first time all the singers and musicians will perform together but the conductor hopes the experience will spread the love of classical music.
Families of the young people taking part were given free tickets to the concert as well as a programme listing the names of everyone taking part.
