BORUSSIA MONCHENGLADBACH proved a handful for Celtic on the park.. and a mouthful for Scottish fans off it.
The Bundesliga side poked gentle fun at the travelling support as they challenged them to pronounce the club's name in the run-up to yesterday's Champions League clash.

It follows some light-hearted Glaswegian comedy ahead of the reverse fixture, when a city pub's sign with several attempts at spelling Borussia Monchengladbach crossed out before giving up and simply saying 'A German team' went viral.

As a result, scarves bearing the legend 'A German team' were being touted before last night's match, which saw the Scots champions draw with the hosts.
