Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May have announced plans to bring their new Amazon Prime show to Scotland.

The former Top Gear trio will film an episode of The Grand Tour in front of a live studio audience in a tent on the banks of Loch Ness during a two day shoot in December.

The location is one of many that have been used during The Grand Tour’s worldwide filming tour, with other episodes being shot in Johannesburg, California, Rotterdam and Whitby in Yorkshire.

Amazon is now offering fans the chance to apply for tickets to be in the audience for the recording. Applications for tickets close at 11.59pm tomorrow, with successful applicants being contacted over the next few weeks.

Mr Marine added: “Demand for tickets to all recordings has been phenomenal with applications coming in from around the globe, so get in quick for an opportunity to join Jeremy, James and Richard at this monster location.”

The new motoring show officially launches on Amazon Prime on November 18, with a new episode being released every Friday for 12 weeks.
