A POLICE probe is under way following the discovery of a dead man in a street in Kilmarnock.
Officers were called to the Ayrshire town's Dean Street at 8.30am this morning.
It is understood the man, believed to be in his 60s, was found lying behind a van.
His death was being treated as unexplained.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said it was not thought to be suspicious.
