DOGS Days Glasgow is getting ready to host Glasgow's first ever Doggy Christmas Market.

The event will be held within Dog Days Glasgow, a centre based at Jordanvale Avenue in the Whiteinch area.

According to the event's Facebook page, over 2,700 people and their pets are expected to attend the festive market.

Pooches and their human friends can head along on Saturday, December 3 from 12 noon to 4pm.

As well as a special guest appearance from 'Santa Paws', furry guests can also get involved in 'smooch a pooch' and a dog show.

There will also be a dog photo shoot and dog first aid talks from Archangel Training.

Over 30 stalls will offer handmade dog treats and personalised gifts, which will ensure pets get the perfect Christmas present.

There will even be dog massage and reiki for animals attending on the day.

Dog Days Glasgow will be posting a schedule in the coming weeks of what they have planned and the specific times.

All animals must be kept on lead whilst at the event.  No booking is required and tickets can be purchased on the day.

Entry is £2 while under 16's go free and all proceeds will go towards the Dogs Trust.
