HEARTLESS thieves have stolen a collection box from a church.
The box and the money within were taken from St Paul's Church on Dumbarton Road on Saturday.
It is believed whoever took the charitable donations struck between 10am and 3pm.

As the box was secured to the Catholic church's floor, police believe it may have taken some effort to remove and are appealing for the public's help to track the criminal or criminals responsible.
The public reacted with horror to the theft, with many registering their disgust on the police Facebook page.
One user wrote: "Oh my, nothing is sacred anymore."
