Amazon's new Echo speaker won't be in many Rangers' fans Christmas stockings this year as the trendy device claims the club is only "three or four years old."
The £150 device is a hands-free speaker you control with your voice. Echo connects to the Alexa Voice Service to play music, provide information, news, sports scores, weather, and more- instantly. All you have to do is ask.
And one East Kilbride owner did indeed ask- How old Rangers is?
Michael McGovern posted a video of the response on his Facebook page with the caption: "Ma new Amazon speaker thing knows its stuff."
During the 15 second clip the device can be heard saying: "The Rangers Football Club limited is three or four years old."
It added: "Rangers’ foundation happened in 2012."
Rangers supporters are constantly taunted over when the club was formed after it went into liquidation four years ago.
Rival fans say they are a new club which was established in 2012, while Gers supporters insist it was in 1872.
