A MAN has died after he was shot while sitting in a car in Glasgow.
The 26-year-old was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital following the attack, which took place on Scotland Street before midnight on Tuesday.
He subsequently died, with his death being treated as murder by police.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "At 11.55pm on Tuesday, a 26-year-old man was shot while sitting in his Audi vehicle at a junction on Scotland Street in Glasgow.

"He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he died a short time later and we are treating the death as murder. Enquiries are continuing."
Scotland Street was closed on Wednesday morning as officers investigated the incident.
Shields Road subway station was also shut for a time
It is currently unclear when Scotland Street will be reopened, though the subway station is back in service.
Subway passengers can exit but cannot travel from Shields Road.
